Individual Courses
One-to One Tuition Ref ‘IND’
Ideal for these who need to learn English in the shortest possible time. The choice of tutor is the result of accurate needs analysis of each client. The course is base on learning English in realistic conditions relative to the interests and needs of the client.Students who want their personal tutor can attend lessons any time of the day and also on Saturdays (Field studies included). They can study one-to-one or with another partner. They can choose from:
- 10 Lessons per week (Ref. IND10)
- 15 Lessons per week (Ref. IND15)
- 20 Lessons per week (Ref. IND20)
- 30 Lessons per week (Ref. IND30)
Additional hours can be requested. Private tuition can be given in locations chosen by the students, including at the teachers’ own residences.
Combination Courses Ref ‘COMB’
Students can combine one-to-one studies with group courses.
- 20 sessions of 45 minutes +5 sessions of 45 minutes one-to-one (Ref COMB5)
- 20 sessions of 45 minutes + 10 sessions of 45 minutes one-to-one (Ref. COMB10)
Students taking one to one courses can attend personalized programmes in general English or English for special purposes such as:
- English for Business
- English for Marketing and Advertising
- English for Tourism, Hotels and Catering
- English for Medicine
- English for Science
- English for Law
- English for Computer related professions
- English for Engineering
- English for Secretarial and Office work
- English for Public relations
- English for Sports
Home Teaching Programme: Students may choose to study individually in the homes of their teachers. They will still be able to participate in all after school activities. Teaching locations can be in Malta or in Gozo.
Other Courses
Examination Courses
Ref ‘EXAM’
Students who wish to sit for internationally recognized examination can take an examination preparation course. Such exams include the Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL amongst others.
Courses vary from 4 to 14 weeks and even longer if required. Students will be coached in the special techniques of tackling examinations.
IELTS (International English Language Teaching System)
20 General English lessons per week or 30 General English lessons per week
Minimum 8 weeks
Minimum 8 students, maximum 12 students
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
30 lessons of 45 minutes per week
Minimum 12 weeks
Minimum 8 students, maximum 12 students
