Family Course (Ref: FAM)

Magister Academy has a long tradition of organising courses for children. The school offers children courses (from 7 to 15 years of age) and a child care centre (3 to 6 years old) . Parents can study, whilst their children are being cared for by qualified teachers and trained personnel.

Courses for adults and children are held in the same school building and at the same time – 3 hrs daily ( 15 hrs weekly) 09.00 to 12.30.

Parents and children can join all the guided tours and participate in the activities organised by the school.

Children pay EUR 190.00 a week

Notes:

We can offer these courses in low season on one-to-one basis or two-to-one basis (Reduced hours). Course can also be offered to child/children only, even if their parents do not want to attend courses.

Full Immersion (Ref: FIM)

The best opportunity to learn English in real life situations. One of our most intensive courses is designed for professionals and others who need to learn or perfect communicating in English in the shortest possible time. Participants combine 40 one-to-one lessons in class with 15 hours out of class in the company of a teacher. A total of 45 hours a week!

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES

At the time of booking, applicants are invited to send an academic needs analysis together with a list of preferred activities outside the classroom to enable us prepare a bespoke Course.  The Course includes academic course material, daily lunch with the teacher and three accompanied activities weekly to enable the student practise English  in “ real life” situations.  All activities are included in the price.

This course will serve as an evaluation and assessment of one’s strengths and weaknesses and a detailed report in this regard will be given out. The teacher and his student will also work out a plan on how to follow-up with self-study on one’s return home.

Summary

• 40 one-to-one lessons of 45 minutes’ duration each. A weekly total of 30 hours + 15 hours accompanied by a teacher outside of the class.

• Daily lunch, forming part of the 15 hours with a teacher outside the class (included in price)

• Other activities include

• One cultural evening per week (included in price)

• One half day excursion (included in price)

• One afternoon activity or tour (included in the price)

Price   €1990  per week

English for Art Lovers (Ref: ART)

 
This Course is especially designed for those students who love art .The course will include General  English lessons in the morning (20 sessions a week of 45 minutes’ duration each – 15 hours) plus another 20 sessions (15 hours weekly ),  in groups of not more than six,  of painting and art related sessions. These afternoon sessions will include at least two weekly outdoor sessions of landscape painting plus a session painting live models. A minimum of one visit to an art museum or to a place renowned for artistic heritage is included in the price.

The students can provide their own painting materials or can purchase the material required locally. Our art expert will also help in this regard.

Summary

• 20 General English morning lessons of 45 minutes’ duration each. A weekly total of 15 hours + 15 hours accompanied by an art expert outside of the class.

• Out-of-class activities include

• Two landscape painting sessions (included in price)

• One live model painting activity (included in price)

• One visit to an art museum or related heritage site (included in the price)

Price   €450 per week (painting materials not included)

English for Sport (Ref: Sport)

 
This Course is especially designed for those students who love to practise individual or team sports .The course will include General  English lessons in the morning (20 sessions a week of 45 minutes’ duration each – 15 hours) plus another 20 sessions (15 hours weekly ),  in groups of not more than twelve,  of  team sports depending on the season.

In summer students can participate in a series of water sports including, waterpolo,  swimming,  sailing  and diving.

Winter team sports include football, basketball , volleyball, hockey, handball  and  athletics, plus tennis, judo and bowling .

Students will be able to join local teams to play with whilst practising their English on the field of play. They will also be taught the relative English sport terminology in order to enhance their chances in the international sports arena.

Students are advised to provide their own sports kits although the school will help (at an extra cost) if or when specialized wear or equipment is required; for example, tennis, sailing, diving, hockey, bowling, etc.

Price €550 per week.   A supplement must be added for sportswear or equipment as detailed above.

• 40 Unterrichtseinheiten á 45 Minuten. Somit wöchentlich 30 Stunden + 15 Stunden in Begleitung des Lehrers außerhalb des Klassenzimmers.
• Tägliches Mittagessen, als Teil der 15 Stunden, die in Begleitung des Lehrpersonals außerhalb des Klassenzimmers verbracht werden.

Pauschalpreis pro Woche 1.990,00 EUR

• 20 Unterrichtseinheiten á 45 Minuten. Somit wöchentlich 15 Stunden + 15 Stunden in Begleitung eines Kunstexperten außerhalb des Klassenzimmers.
• Die Aktivitäten außerhalb des Klassenzimmers umfassen:
• Zwei Einheiten Landschaftsmalerei
• Eine Einheit Live-Porträtmalerei
• Besuch eines Kunstmuseums oder einer entsprechenden kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeit (im Preis inbegriffen).
